Bihar: Kumar Ravi assigned Chief Minister’s Secretariat, Thiyagarajan S made Commissioner Magadh Division

In a minor yet significant bureaucratic reshuffle, the Bihar government has recently reshuffled four IAS officers across the state.


Kumar Ravi, a 2005 batch IAS officer and former District Magistrate of Patna, known for his close association with Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, has been transferred to the Chief Minister’s Secretariat.

Mayank Warwade, a 2001 batch officer, has been appointed as the new Commissioner of Patna.

Thiyagarajan S M (2011 batch) will now serve as the Commissioner of the Magadh Division and Additional Director General of Gaya.


Pankaj Kumar Pal, a 2002 batch IAS officer and current Secretary in the Rural Development Department, has been assigned additional duties as Secretary of the Energy Department.
