8 IAS transferred in Uttar Pradesh, M Devaraj made Principal Secretary Appointments Department

In a recent bureaucratic reshuffle, the Uttar Pradesh government has announced new appointments for several senior IAS officers. M Devaraj, a 1996-batch officer, has been appointed as the Principal Secretary in the Appointments Department, with an additional charge of the GST Department.


Alok Kumar, an IAS officer from the 1988 batch, has been assigned the charge of the Technical Education Department, along with responsibilities for MSME. IAS Ravindra has been appointed as the Principal Secretary in the Department of Agriculture.

Monika Garg, a 1989-batch officer, has been named Agriculture Production Commissioner. Meanwhile, Ravindra Nayak, a 1995-batch IAS officer who previously served as the in-charge Principal Secretary in the Secretariat Administration, will now lead the Animal Husbandry Department.

As part of these changes, the UP government has also relieved Devesh Chaturvedi, a 1989-batch IAS officer, from his duties as Agriculture Production Commissioner, enabling his deputation to the central government.
