Dr. Vinay Goyal, an IAS officer from the 2016 batch, has officially assumed his new role as the Director of the Kerala State IT Mission and Project Director at eHealth Kerala. Dr Goyal expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “Took charge as Director, Kerala State IT Mission & Project Director, eHealth Kerala and look forward to these new roles and responsibilities”.
Dr Goyal brings a wealth of experience to his new role, having previously served as Director of the Scheduled Tribes Development Department, Director of the Backward Classes Development Department, Secretary of the Kerala State Housing Board, Managing Director of Kerala Rapid Transit Corporation Ltd, Chief Executive Officer of Smart City Thiruvananthapuram Limited, and District Development Commissioner of Thiruvananthapuram.
He holds an MBBS degree in Medicine from PGIMS Rohtak, a Master in Public Management from Jawaharlal Nehru University, and a Master of Public Health (MPH) from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
