In a major bureaucratic reshuffle, the state government of Uttarakhand has once again initiated a large-scale transfer of IAS and PCS officers. The reshuffle, outlined in an order issued late Saturday night, entails the transfer of 11 officers, including four senior IAS officers, six PCS officers, and one Secretariat Service officer.

Among the notable changes, Additional Chief Secretary Anand Bardhan has been appointed as the Additional Chief Secretary for Personnel and Vigilance, assuming additional responsibilities. Ramesh Kumar Sudhanshu has been appointed as the Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister, and Principal Secretary Revenue Affairs.

Shailesh Bagauli has been relieved of his duties as the Secretary to the Chief Minister, Personnel and Vigilance, and has been assigned to Home and Prison affairs. Additionally, Kurve Sachin Sharadchandra has been removed from the position of Secretary-Revenue. Mahavir Singh Chauhan, previously on the waiting list, has been appointed as the Additional Secretary for Disaster Management.

The reshuffle also includes PCS officer transfers, with Abhishek Tripathi now serving as the Chief Development Officer of Tehri Garhwal, and Jai Bharat Singh assuming the role of Additional District Magistrate for Administration in Dehradun. Pankaj Kumar Upadhyay and Ravindra Kumar Juwantha have been reassigned from their previous posts, while Chandra Singh Imlal has been appointed as the Additional Commissioner for Sugarcane in Kashipur.
