Mona Khandhar, IAS of 1996 batch, is appointed as Principal Secretary to Government, Finance Department (Economic Affairs), Sachivalaya, Gandhinagar, succeeding Milind Torawane, IAS. Khandhar would also serve as the Head of Structure/Arrangement for the G-20 Summit Meetings in Gujarat, which are being created separately by the Industries and Mines Department.
Milind Torawane, IAS of 2000 batch, Secretary to Government, Finance Department (Economic Affairs), Sachivalaya, Gandhinagar (who also holds the additional charge of Chief Commissioner of State Tax, Ahmedabad) is transferred and appointed as Chief Commissioner of State Tax, Ahmedabad.
