Uttarakhand’s bureaucratic rejig: 5 IAS, 2 IFS, 2 PCS transferred

The Government of Uttarakhand gave a nod to a bureaucratic reshuffle in the state on June 22. The state released an official order to transfer five IAS officers, two IFS officers and two PCS officers.

Soujanya, IAS, has been appointed as Secretary Election, Chief Electoral Officer, Women Empowerment and Child Development, Inspector General Registration and Commissioner Tax. The charge of Director, State Environmental Protection and Climate Change has been withdrawn from her.

V Shanmugam, IAS, presently serving as Additional Secretary, Women Empowerment and Child Development and Director, Integrated Child Development Project has been relieved of the charge of Secretary, Uttarakhand Child Rights Protection Commission.

Yugal Kishore Pant, IAS, Additional Secretary, Health and Medical Education has been relieved of the charge of Mission Director,  National Health Mission (NHM). Whereas, Sonika, IAS, has been given the additional charge of Mission Director, NHM. She is currently serving as Additional Secretary, Tourism, Culture, Religion, and Civil Aviation.

The charge of Additional Secretary Food Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs and Additional Commissioner Food Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs has been withdrawn from Ranvir Singh Chauhan, IAS, who is the present Additional Secretary, Transport, Managing Director Transport Corporation, MDDA Vice Chairman and CEO, Smart City.

SP Subudhi, IFS, has been given the charge of Director, State Environmental Protection and Climate Change. Subhudhi, at present, is holding the post of Chief Sub-Conservator and Member Secretary, Uttarakhand Environment Protection and Pollution Control Board.

Dr Parag Madhukar Dhakate, IFS, Special Secretary to the Chief Minister, has been given the additional charge of Forest Guardian Western Circle Haldwani.

The Additional Mission Director NHM and Joint Chief Electoral Officer Jharana Kamathan, PCS, have been given the additional charge of Secretary, Uttarakhand Child Rights Protection Commission.

Pratap Singh Shah, PCS, Additional Secretary Youth Welfare and Joint CEO, Secretariat Administration has been given the additional charge of Additional Secretary, Food Supplies and Consumer Affairs and Additional Commissioner, Food Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs.
