Government of West Bengal has transferred 14 IAS officers in a recent bureaucratic rejig. The transferred officers belong to the batches between 1992 and 2012.

A Subbaiah (1992-Batch) has been transferred as the Principal Secretary, Backward Classes Welfae Department, Government of West Bengal. At present, he is the Managing Director (MD) of West Bengal Essential Commodities Supply Corporation Limited (WBECSCL). He also has the additional charge as Medinipur Division Commissioner.

Dushyant Nariala has been appointed as the Principal Secretary of Disaster Management and Civil Defence Department of West Bengal Government. The 1993-Batch officer is at present posted as the Principal Secretary of Disaster Management and Civil Defence Department with an additional charge in Tribal Development Department.

Rajesh Kumar Sinha (1997-Batch), Secretary, Fisheries Department, has been transferred as the Tribal Development Department Secretary.

1998-Batch officer Neelam Meena has been named the Secretary, Correctional Administration Department. At present, she is the Backward Classes Welfare Department Secretary.

Abhinav Chandra has been posted as the Secretary, Agriculture Marketing Department with additional charge of Secretary in Planning and Statistics Department and Programme Monitoring Department. At present, the 2001-Batch officer is the Secretary, Planning and Statistics Department and Programme Monitoring Department.

Integrated Child Development Service (ICDS) Director Naba Gopal Heera (2004-Batch) has been transferred as the Secretary of Transport Department.

Smita Pndey (2005-Batch), Additional Secretary, Consumer Affairs Department has been transferred as the Additional Secretary, Fisheries Department.

Syed Sarwar Imam has been appointed as Additional Secretary, Department of MSME & Textiles, Government of West Bengal. The 2005-Batch officer is at present the Additional Secretary of School Education Department.

2006-Batch officer Amit Chaudhari has been appointed as the Additional Director of Administrative Training Institute, West Bengal.

C Murugan (2007-Batch), Additional Secretary, I, C & E department has been transferred as CEO, West Bengal Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation (WBIIDC).

Rachna Bhagat (2009-Batch), Joint Secretary, Animal Resources Development Department, Government of Gujarat has been transferred as ICDS Director.

2010-Batch officer Apala Sett has been as the Member-Secretary, West Bengal Valuation Board.

Joyoshi Das Gupta, another 2010-Batch officer has been appointed as the Joint Secretary, Consumer Affairs Department. At present, she is the Additional Director of Administrative Training Institute (ATI).

Rajanvir Singh Kapoor (2012-Batch), Officer on Special Duty, ATI, has been transferred as MD, West Bengal Transport Corporation.
