Abhishek Singh, 1995- Batch IAS officer of Nagaland cadre has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of National eGovernance Division (NeGD).

Before this, Singh was the Chief Executive Officer of MyGov India. Prior to this, he was serving as the Secretary, Agricultural Scientists Recruitment Board (ASRB), under the Department of Agricultural Research & Education.

During his stint in the Government of Nagaland, he has held the posts of Commissioner and Secretary to CM; Home Commissioner, Tourism Department; Secretary to Governor and Secretary ITTE; Joint Secretary to Chief Minister and School Education; Member Secretary, Education Commission of Nagaland.

During his stint in the Government of Uttar Pradesh, Singh has held the posts of Chief Development Officer, Sultanpur; Special Secretary, Cultural Affairs and District Magistrate for Badaun, Bulandshahar and Hardoi.

Singh has also been appointed as Executive Director at Food Corporation of India and Director, eGovernance in the Department of Information Technology, Government of India.

Singh holds a B.Tech (Mechanical Engineering) from IIT Kanpur. He also pursued Urban Management from IIM Ahmedabad. He is also an alumnus of Nanyang Technological University, Harvard University Kennedy School of Government and Cambridge Judge Business School.
