Rajasthan: IAS Ankit Kumar Singh becomes Udaipur Municipal Corporation Commissioner

Ankit Kumar Singh, a Rajasthan cadre IAS officer of 2014 batch, has been appointed as Commissioner, Municipal Corporation of Udaipur by the Government of Rajasthan.

Prior to this, he was given the post of Managing Director, Rajasthan State Mines and Minerals Limited (RSMML), Udaipur.

Earlier, Singh was the Chief Executive Officer, Zila Parishad, Chittorgarh. Incidentally, his wife Anjali Rajoria, an IAS officer too, has been transferred to Udaipur as the Additional Commissioner of the Tribal Department.

Hailing from Uttar Pradesh, Ankit Kumar Singh has pursued B Tech in Electrical and Communication Engineering. He was posted as subdivision officer in Ajmer in July 2017 after which he was transferred as CEO, District Council of Chittorgarh.

Apart from Singh, the Government of Rajasthan has reshuffled the posts of around 15 IAS officers, including Ashutosh AT Pednekar, Sreya Guha, Naresh K Thakral to name a few.
