Rajeeva Swarup becomes new Chief Secretary of Rajasthan

Following the announcements by Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot on July 2, orders for a major bureaucratic reshuffle was passed in the state. Amidst the rejig, A 1985-Batch IAS officer, Rajeeva Swarup has been appointed as the new Chief Secretary of the Government of Rajasthan.

Rajeeva Swarup, at present, is serving as Additional Chief Secretary, Home, Home Guards, Jail & Rajasthan State Investigation Bureau and Ex-Officio Chief Vigilance Commissioner and Additional Chief Secreatry, Transport Department, Rajasthan, Jaipur.
