Rajasthan’s bureaucratic rejig: 66 IPS officers transferred

In another big rejig in the bureaucratic set up in the State of Rajasthan led to the transfer of 66 IPS officers. This is the second time the State has given nod for a bureaucratic reshuffle just a day after transferring 103 IAS officers.

In the reshuffle, two Director General of Police (DGPs), eight Additional DGPs, seven Inspector General (IGs) of police, 13 Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIGs) and 38 Superintendents of Police (SP) were among the officers transferred.

DGP (law and order) ML Lather has now been transferred as DGP (crime branch) and BL Soni, who is presently holding the position of DGP (crime branch), has been given the charge of DGP (Jail).

Moreover, Anil Paliwal Additional DGP has been given the charge of the Personnel Department. Additional DGP Ashok Kumar Rathore has been posted in ATS and SOG, while, another Additional DGP Prashakha Mathur has been given the charge of Rajasthan State Human Rights Commission.

Further, 61 more officers have been shuffled amidst the bureaucratic rejig. For the complete list of transfers, please see the list attached below.
