The students of Gurukul are provided multiple pathways to demonstrate their proficiency in diverse fields and are able to capitalise on their efforts, abilities and resilience to become an active and substantial resource for the society. Gurukul The School—One of the top schools of Ghaziabad, considers the diverse imaginations, observations, opinions, hopes and dreams of students its most powerful resource. By empowering students, it engages them further in learning, provides a more democratic learning experience as students thrive in learning environment that value them as learners and teaches them to embrace their successes and failures with confidence.

Through continuous professional development, training sessions, incorporation of new methodologies and developing a culture of perpetual improvement, the teacher-facilitator provides an educational atmosphere where students have the opportunity to fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical and psychological growth. She evaluates the needs and abilities of students and determines methods and techniques to best present and provide instruction to students within assigned subject areas; ensures that students show continuous improvement in learning basics and essential skills; embraces technology and looks for purposeful ways to engage students and also welcomes the challenge of creating an engaging and rigorous curriculum that makes connection to important concepts and ideas within and across disciplines.

The school also provides collaboration opportunities to community and parents to participate in learning and decision making as parents are the main stakeholders in any educational institution and an institution cannot progress without their undivided attention and relentless support.

Gurukul The School believes that a child’s education is incomplete without the support of parents so, instead of organising a summer camp for students, it arranges language and computer workshops for the parents so that the view points and opinions of children, parents and school amalgamate and lead the school to achieve new heights.

Project Ishwar is the in-house project of Gurukul The School that inspires students to be the change they want to see in the world. The students of ‘Community Outreach Club’ serve the children of female inmates of Dasna Jail, the district prison. Our school has opened a day care centre for the kids of female inmates of the Jail and our students visit it once a week. The students share goodies, toys, books and stationery with them and teach them about the soft skills, health and hygiene. They have story telling sessions, poem recitation, movie shows and plays for the kids. The school has around 200 ancillary and supporting staff and all of them are on school roles, who have been assigned duties after meticulous and thorough verification of their credibility and background. The education of their school going children is sponsored by Gurukul The School.

Regular workshops are arranged to train these people regarding student care, first aid, upkeep of school premises and incentives are given for their dedicated and uncompromising attitude towards their duties. All of the buses are fitted with GPS and cameras that keep an eye on all the students and make sure they get home safe and sound. Each classroom and all the corridors have multiple CCTV cameras that act as a deterrent and also keep a record of any undesirable activities. We constantly strive to ensure that we are delivering not just a good education but an education for good by our commitment to learning, accepting responsibility, respect for self, others and the environment and gaining excellence in all we do.
