Balvender Kumar, a 1981 batch UP cadre IAS officer and Vice Chairman of Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has been appointed as Secretary, Department of Mines . He will be replacing Dr. Anup K Pujari, who is a 1980 batch IAS officer of Karnataka cadre and is appointed as Secretary, Ministry of Micro and Small and Medium Enterprises.
