Pradeep Kumar Pujari, a 1981 batch IAS officer of Gujarat cadre is appointed as Power Secretary replacing Pradeep Kumar Sinha , who is a 1980 batch IAS officer of Assam Meghalaya (AM) cadre. Currently, he is working as Special Secretary and Financial Adviser, Department of Agriculture Research and Education, Ministry of Agriculture.
