Smita Sabharwal, a 2001 batch IAS officer of the Andhra Pradesh cadre, has been appointed as the Additional Secretary to Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao of Telangana with immediate effect.
She is currently serving as the District Collector of Medak district and has been shifted to the newly-carved out state.
