Naga City of Philippines is leading in e-Governance services with the use of Internet and mobile phone technology. After the launch of website in 1997, the Naga has been improved in delivering e-Governance services to Naga constituents.

With the launch of website, the government realised that website can be used as a tool to empower people. After the launch of website, the government decided to use the Internet and mobile phone technology to spread information about Naga City's programmes, receive complaints and to deliver services. Naga's i-Governance initiative has both online and offline features. Naga residents can browse the city's website (www.naga.gov.ph) and find information about the city's tourist spots as well as Naga's various awards and governance initiatives. The website also promotes community through new features, for and live webcasts of important events. The Naga website has new tool, which pinpoints on accountability in delivering services. For the offline services, residents can turn to the Naga City Citizens Charter, which is a guidebook on the local government's key services. The guidebook offers step-by-step instructions on how to use each service, the standard response time for its delivery, and the city hall officers and staff responsible for its operation.
