Mr. Harmit Singh Pahuja, a seasoned 2010 batch IAS officer from the Manipur cadre, has been appointed as the Director in the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT). Currently holding the position of Deputy Secretary in the same department, Mr. Pahuja’s re-designation was officially confirmed by an order issued by the DoPT on Friday, January 12, 2024.
The order stated that the competent authority has granted approval for Mr. Pahuja’s re-designation, marking his official transition to the role of Director. The tenure for this position is effective until November 17, 2024, spanning a total duration of five years under the Central Staff Scheme.
