The computerised agricultural land record programme, Bhoomi is planning to tie up with land acquisition department to prevent any property transaction.

According to e-Governance department, the project will enable a prospective land purchaser to know about the status of the property. After preliminary notification, Bhoomi kiosk will flag the status of the property in the Record of Right, Tenancy and Crop certificate (RTC), and leave no space for the transaction. e-Governance department is managing the Bhoomi project, which would be linked to the land acquisition office.  As per rule, no property would be transacted once preliminary land acquisition notice is issued.
