12 Ministries from the Bangladesh Government have started to provide E-service including paying utility and land bills through the Internet to the people.

It was told at a review meeting on “E-governance quick win” at the Prime Minister's Office in the city yesterday. Around 50 officials of different ministries and departments attended the meeting. People from rural areas have started to get information related to livelihood through Union Information Centre (UIC) and Agriculture and Communication Centre (AICC). Besides, the people can pay their land phone bills through SMS and know information about railway, polling centres and market prices through Internet and necessary government forms are also available on Internet.
