British e-Government Minister, Pat McFadden told that Indian Government is still facing huge challenge in implementing e-Governance applications to empower its citizens for overall economic development.

While his four day visit to India, Pat McFadden told that India is facing problem in implementing e-Governance programmes among citizens. The minister also visited several e-Governance centres in India that are aimed at empowering the poor such as Sewa in Hyderabad and the ITC-promoted e-Choupal. During his four day visit, he traveled Hyderabad and interacted with major officials of TCS, Infosys to explore and facilitate bilateral investment opportunities.
