Oracle develops e-Governance Centre of Excellences in India

Oracle has developed various e-Governance centre of Excellences in India. The company uses Oracle Information Architecture to help Governments to deliver better citizen services, do effective fiscal management and increase work efficiencies in Government departments across Central, State and Local Government levels.

The company has developed the citizen data hub, which uses Oracle's citizen community architecture to create unified repository of citizen information. These citizen data hub connects various government departments with the citizen to a single data model. The Citizen Data Hub uses the Oracle Data model, Oracle Customer Online and Oracle Data Librarian to give organizations access to a single source of customer. The Oracle citizen Data Hub is based on open information architecture. Various government departments are using Oracle's Citizen Data Hub to provide a single window for government access to specific communities like farmers. Government is using Oracle's system in variety of systems like: Poverty alleviation schemes, Land records, Voter's database, PDS, Police and Co-operative/state owned banks.
