The Dubai School of Government (DSG) is going to gain ownership of the Middle East's first e-government Arab Sharing Portal in 2010.

 

Dubai School of Government, Microsoft Gulf and UNDP/ ICTDAR have signed a MoU to explore the education programme in Dubai. United Nations Development Program (UNDP/ICTDAR) has established the portal during the World Summit for Information Society (WSIS) in Tunisia to promote e-Governance. The Dubai School of Government is the leading research and teaching institution established in the region that focuses on public policy and administration. UNDP/ICTDAR has partnered with DSG to develop the e-government portal for regional governments to share knowledge, best practices and experience about effective e-Governance policies, programmes and solutions. This partnership will initiate the e-Governance research and promote the concept of e-Government in the Arab World. Microsoft will provide financial support and technical expertise the Dubai School of Government team to ensure familiarity the Sharing Solution Network platform (SSN) and performing post launch updating operations.
