India Ranks 41st in the Global Innovation Index
India Ranks 41st in the Global Innovation Index

India falls 18 places in global innovation index. In last year’s Index India was ranked 23rd out of 107 countries. In the current edition, which is the second edition of the Global Innovation Index (GII) India has been ranked 41 among 130 countries. The United States has been ranked first, Germany second and Sweden third in this year’s index.

The Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission (ACRC), South Korea, has won the top award conferred by the e-Challenges Conference and Exhibition to a helpful e-Government systems held in Stockholm, Sweden, recently.

Angola Stands 127th in UN Electronic Governance Ranking

Angola stands in the 127th position in the ranking of the United Nations electronic governance ranking, after having risen 31 places from the year 2005. Angola stands 15th from among African countries and seventh in the Southern Africa Development Community (SADC), making an effort to rank among the first 10 of the continent and first five of the regional organisation.
