We have done extremely well on the e-Procurement front. Now, any procurement of the government above INR 100,000 is done through e-Procurement. Leading state PSUs have also deployed e-Procurement. All Urban Local Bodies of the State have also switched over to e-Procurement mode
In yet another move towards e-Governance initiatives, the IT Department of Haryana Government, India, has decided to install computers with Internet facilities in all the 108 ‘mandis’ and 25 sub-centres of the agricultural marketing board of the state.
The Ministry of Transport, Egypt has launched a online ticket booking service in collaboration with the Ministry of State for Administrative Development. The IT Department will maintain the service at the Egyptian National Railways Authority and the National Commercial Bank.
