The mobile operator, EMT, has launched a new Mobile-ID service in Estonia in cooperation with Certification Authority AS Sertifitseerimiskeskus. Mobile ID is based on traditional eID card and digital signing through the mobile phone.
Now, the Akshaya Kendras in Malappuram district in Kerala, India, will issue railway tickets. Passengers will be able to get information on trains and ticket fares, apart from the facility to book or cancel tickets at these centres.
