
Telecommunications Consultants India Ltd. (TCIL) handed over a dividend cheque of Rs. 33.72 crore to the Government of India for the financial year 2023-24, making a remarkable 137% increase from the previous year. Sanjeev Kumar, Chairman and Managing Director of TCIL, presented the cheque to the Minister of Communications, Jyotiraditya M. Scindia, in the presence of Neeraj Mittal, Secretary of the Department of Telecommunications (DoT).
In 2022-23, TCIL paid a dividend of Rs. 14.19 crore to the government. This significant increase in dividend demonstrates the company’s growing financial strength and sustainability. The Government of India holds 100% equity in TCIL.

Established in August 1978, TCIL is a Miniratna PSU under the Department of Telecommunications. It has maintained consistent profitability, undertaking telecommunications and IT projects both domestically and internationally. TCIL operates in over 70 countries, including Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Oman, Mauritius, and Nepal, and is currently executing the Pan Africa e-Vidya Bharti & Arogya Bharti Network project in more than 15 African nations.
