In a recent administrative update, the General Administration Department of Jammu and Kashmir has made new interim appointments for key departments.
Shaleen Kabra, Financial Commissioner (Additional Chief Secretary) of the Jal Shakti Department, who also holds the additional charge of Financial Commissioner Revenue, has been assigned the role of Administrative Secretary for the Estates Department. He will hold this position alongside his current duties until further notice.
Dheeraj Gupta, Financial Commissioner (Additional Chief Secretary) of the Department of Forest, Ecology, and Environment, has been given the additional charge of Administrative Secretary for the Information Technology Department, again in conjunction with his current responsibilities.

Suresh Kumar Gupta, Principal Secretary of the Culture Department, has been tasked with the additional role of Administrative Secretary for the School Education Department.
Additionally, Rashmi Singh, Commissioner/Secretary of the Hospitality & Protocol Department, has been given the charge of Administrative Secretary for the Higher Education Department, alongside her ongoing duties. These temporary assignments will remain in place until further orders from the government.
