The Haryana Government has established “SAMADHAN PRAKOSHTH” in the Chief Secretary’s Office to address public grievances. This initiative will feature ‘Samadhan Shivir’ sessions at each district and sub-divisional headquarters every working day from 09:00 AM to 11:00 AM, aimed at resolving public issues efficiently.
Public grievances are generally categorised into two stages: policy issues and implementation bottlenecks. Policy-related issues will be addressed at the state headquarters level by the ‘Prakoshth’ in coordination with Administrative Secretaries. Implementation bottlenecks will be resolved through the ‘Samadhan Shivir’ at the district level.
The Chief Secretary will convene meetings with Administrative Secretaries to tackle policy issues affecting public welfare schemes and will issue necessary directions to district administrations to eliminate implementation bottlenecks.
As part of this program, key district officials including the Deputy Commissioner, Superintendent of Police, Additional Deputy Commissioner, District Municipal Commissioner, Sub Divisional Officers, and other relevant officers will meet daily in the Deputy Commissioner’s and SDO (Civil) offices to resolve public grievances. The Deputy Commissioner may also co-opt additional officers as needed.
The administration aims to address each grievance presented in the ‘Samadhan Shivir’ to the greatest extent possible. All Deputy Commissioners will submit daily reports on the number of complaints received, resolved, and pending, along with reasons for any pendency, to the Divisional Commissioner and the ‘Samadhan Prakoshth’ in the Chief Secretary’s Office.
