Mayur Ratilal Govekar Named Deputy Secretary of Ministry of Road Transport and Highways

IAS officer Mayur Ratilal Govekar has been officially appointed as the Deputy Secretary of the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH). The appointment, made under the Central Staffing Scheme (CSS), will last for four years starting from the date he assumes charge, as per the recent directive from the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT).


Shri Govekar was formerly the District Magistrate & Collector of Gomati District in his home cadre. The order from DoPT emphasizes his immediate release from the current role so he can embark on his new responsibilities with MoRTH.
