
The Uttar Pradesh government today has announced three-day celebrations marking the state foundation day. The celebration will include public participation this time with a focus on investment and employment, officials said on Saturday.
The foundation day of Uttar Pradesh on January 24 has been celebrated for three days since 2018 with the participation of all government departments.
However, this time, in 2023, it has been decided to ensure public participation in the celebrations, an official statement quoted Uttar Pradesh Chief Secretary Durga Shankar Mishra as saying.

According to the government, “Investment and Employment” would be the central focus of Uttar Pradesh Day in 2023. A focus on investment and employment will be incorporated into the organisation of seminars, roadshows, conferences for entrepreneurs, and more.

The UP-State Archives will also host an exhibition at each destination for the programme, including Lucknow, that explores Uttar Pradesh’s history from its founding to the present.
