In another major bureaucratic reshuffle, the Uttar Pradesh Government on Sunday transferred as many as eight IAS officers in the state. The transfer came close on the heels of civic elections in the state.
Mahendra Singh has been given the charge of Home department as Special Secretary whereas Sheshnath has been made Special Secretary Sugar and Sugarcane Development. Yogesh Kumar has been assigned the post of Special Secretary Agriculture Production Commissioner Branch.
Meanwhile, Renu Tiwari who is serving as Additional Commissioner of Rural Development has been given added responsibility of Additional Commissioner MNREGA. Arun Prakash, the Special Secretary MSME Export Promotion has been given additional responsibility of Chief Executive Officer Khadi and Village Industries.
On the other hand, TK Shibu has been made Additional Management Commissioner Revenue Council and Sunil Kumar has been appointed as Special Secretary Agriculture Production Commissioner Branch. Anurag Patel has been assigned the role of Special Secretary Revenue Department.
