Manish Singh appointed as Indore Collector

As soon as Shivraj Singh Chouhan became the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, decisions regarding the shift of officers from his government started coming. The State Government of Madhya Pradesh in a minor bureaucratic rejig transferred Manish Singh, a 2009-Batch IAS officer, as the new Collector of Indore on March 28. Singh has also been the Indore Commissioner earlier and during his tenure, Indore was the first to become number one in cleanliness.

Moreover, DIG Harinarayanachari Mishra has been given the command of Indore city again. Lokesh Kumar Jatav (2004-Batch) has been appointed as the secretary in the ministry. Jatav is presently holding the post of Collector of Indore.
