The UT Administrator VP Singh Badnore has redistributed charges among IAS officers in Chandigarh after the new Municipal Commissioner Kamal Kishore Yadav joined office on Tuesday.
A 2003 batch IAS officer, Kamal Kishore Yadav, has also become the Nodal Officer of Smart City Chandigarh.
BL Sharma, Secretary Education has now been assigned as Secretary Social Welfare & Women & Child Development, Chairman Child & Women Development Corporation, Chairman SC, BC & Minorities Financial & Development Corporation, Secretary Transport, Secretary Personnel, Secretary Vigilance and Secretary Hospitality besides retaining the charge of Secretary Education.
Jitender Yadav, who was holding the charge of Commissioner, Municipal Corporation has been assigned the charge of Secretary Sports, Secretary Rural Development & Panchayats, Secretary Animal Husbandry & Fisheries, Secretary Printing & Stationery, Secretary Statistics, Secretary UT Secretariat Establishment Managing Director, CITCO, Secretary House Allotment Committee (Lower/Upper), Director Tourism and Cultural Affairs, Special Secretary Home/IT, (ex-officio) Special Secretary Tourism.
