Kamal Kishore Yadav,2003 batch IAS officer joined as Commissioner, Municipal Corporation Chandigarh even as Arun Kumar Gupta, posted as Principal Secretary, Town and Country Planning, Government of Haryana has been appointed by the Ministry of Home Affairs as the Home Secretary of Chandigarh.

The charge of Municipal Commissioner, Chandigarh was being handled by Jitender Yadav, special secertary, department of Tourism, UT Administration after the previous commissioner, B Purushartha, got transferred as the private secretary to minister of state (independent charge) for housing and urban development Hardeep Puri.
Kamal Kishore Yadav was earlier posted as Deputy Commissioner, Jalandhar.
