Jitendra Kumar Sinha, a 1966 batch IAS officer of Tripura cadre, has taken charge as the Joint Secretary (JS) in the Ministry for Development of North Eastern Region (DoNER).
Earlier, he had served as the Resident Commissioner, Tripura, in Delhi.

Sinha was appointed as Joint Secretary, DoNER, on May 30 this year, replacing K K Damyanti.
