In Philippines, the Department of Finance (DoF) and the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) have signed a joint administrative order on the implementation of the E-commerce law. DoF and DTI signed the joint administrative order, which recommends guidelines and policies to the government adoption of an Electronic Payment and Collection System (EPCS).
In The guideline will require all government agencies with existing payment and collection systems. The policies will contain the electronic payment and collection data for 60 days, while government archives for 10 years. A Government Electronic Payment and Collection Systems Evaluation Team (GEPCSET) would also be created under the directive.
