BSNL broadband to connect districts, subordinate courts

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited has won a contract of National Informatics Centre (NIC) to provide broadband connectivity to around 13,000 districts and taluka courts across the country.

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited has won a contract of National Informatics Centre (NIC) to provide broadband connectivity to around 13,000 districts and taluka courts across the country.

BSNL is offering this special package with single window facility for application in billing and payment. The BSNL is offering this scheme under its e-governance package to various government bodies. Various central and state government ministries, departments and PSUs are implementing the e-governance related project. Presently, BSNL has 11 lakh broadband connections are working. The BSNL broadband work for 25 lakh additional connections is now progressing in full swing.
