Now citizens of Bangalore, India can book their train tickets at any of the 16 BangaloreOne centres in the city by paying an extra INR 6 per ticket.
BangaloreOne has tied up with the Indian Railways Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) to provide the service. The service would be available between 6 a.m. and 11 p.m. Citizens can go to any BangaloreOne centre with identity proof and book the tickets by paying in cash. Soon, BangaloreOne centres will start booking KSRTC and movie tickets and accepting LIC and ING Vysya insurance premium. The Bangalore Development Authority's (BDA) 20 e-Pragati kiosks are being converted into mini BangaloreOne centres.
