Rajendra Kumar Gets Additional Charge of ISCS Secretary

Senior IAS officer Rajendra Kumar has been given additional charge of Secretary, Inter State Council Secretariat (ISCS) for a temporary period.

Kumar, a 1992-batch IAS officer of the Tamil Nadu cadre, is currently serving as Secretary, Department of Border Management (DBM).

Additional Charge From September 11

Kumar will hold the additional responsibility from September 11 to September 20, 2026, during the leave period of Ashish Srivastava, a 1992-batch IAS officer of theMadhya Pradesh cadre.


Continuity in ISCS Administration

The temporary arrangement will ensure continuity in the functioning of the Inter State Council Secretariat during Srivastava’s absence. Kumar will continue to discharge his existing responsibilities in the Department of Border Management alongside the additional charge.
