Speaking on Uttar Pradesh’s scale and governance challenges, he noted that delivering quality healthcare services to a population exceeding 25 crore requires innovation-driven approaches. AI-powered technologies, data-driven systems, and digital platforms, he said, can play a critical role in improving healthcare outcomes and service delivery.

Highlighting the state’s broader digital transformation journey, the Chief Minister referred to technology-led reforms implemented across welfare and governance systems. Initiatives such as digitisation of public service delivery and Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) mechanisms have improved transparency and helped ensure benefits reach intended beneficiaries efficiently.

He also reflected on the rapid strengthening of healthcare infrastructure across the state in recent years. Uttar Pradesh has significantly expanded its medical ecosystem through the establishment of new medical colleges and healthcare facilities, while initiatives launched during the COVID-19 period accelerated healthcare preparedness through enhanced critical care infrastructure and telemedicine services.

Discussing AI’s future role in healthcare, Yogi Adityanath stressed the importance of data intelligence and predictive systems in enabling proactive healthcare management. Advanced technologies, he noted, can support disease surveillance, resource planning, and more personalised healthcare delivery.

The Chief Minister further stated that Uttar Pradesh is actively positioning itself as a hub for innovation and emerging technologies. Efforts around research, medical technology development, and AI-focused initiatives are expected to create new opportunities for collaboration and innovation across sectors.

The conference served as a platform for discussions around AI-driven healthcare solutions, innovation strategies, and future policy directions aligned with India’s broader digital transformation agenda.

Industry experts, healthcare professionals, researchers, and government representatives participated in the event, exchanging ideas on leveraging technology to build a more inclusive and resilient healthcare ecosystem.
