Pooja Singhal

In a significant administrative overhaul, the Jharkhand government has transferred 15 IAS officers, including newly promoted officials, reshuffling key positions across various departments.

Among the major appointments, 2000 batch IAS officer Pooja Singhal, who was awaiting posting, has been named Secretary of the Department of Information Technology and e-Governance. She will also serve as the CEO of Jharkhand Communication Network Limited (JCNL). However, her appointment is under scrutiny, as the Enforcement Directorate (ED) has petitioned the special PMLA court to prevent her posting due to an ongoing trial related to the MGNREGA scam and money laundering. The court’s verdict on the matter is expected on February 21, 2025.
