Jharkhand Govt reshuffles 7 IPS, Kumar Shivashish made SP Jamshedpur City

In light of the upcoming Jharkhand Vidhan Sabha elections, the state government has executed a reshuffle, transferring seven IPS officers across the state. The elections are scheduled in two phases, with polling on November 13th and 20th, and vote counting set for November 23rd, 2024.


List of IPS Transfers:
Kumar Shivashish (2020 batch), previously SDPO in Hazaribagh, has been transferred as SP, Jamshedpur City.
Paras Rana (2021 batch), awaiting orders, is now Additional SP (Operations), Chaibasa.
Rakesh Singh (2021 batch), awaiting orders, is now Additional SP (Operations), Palamu.
Ritvik Srivastava (2021 batch), awaiting orders, is now Additional SP (Operations), Chatra.
Sheikh Mohammad Yakub (2021 batch), awaiting orders, is now SDPO, Hussainabad.
Lalit Meena (2021 batch), awaiting orders, is now SDPO, Chainpur, Gumla.
Amit Anand (2021 batch), awaiting orders, is now SDPO, Hazaribagh.
