7 IAS transferred in Chhattisgarh, Narendra Kumar Dugga appointed Commissioner Surguja

The Chhattisgarh government marked the first day of the new year by issuing transfer orders for eight IAS officers and assigning additional responsibilities to some. Additionally, postings for 11 IPS officers were announced.


As per the orders from the General Administration Department, Alarmel Mangai D, Secretary of the Labour Department, has been given the additional charge of Secretary, Commercial Tax and Registration Department. IAS Narendra Kumar Dugga has been appointed as the Commissioner of Surguja.

IAS Pratishtha Mamgain will now serve as the Collector of Narayanpur, while Neelam Namdev Ekka has been designated as Secretary of the Chhattisgarh State Information Commission. Abhijit Singh has been assigned the additional responsibility of Secretary, State Public Service Commission. Padum Singh Elma has been posted as Commissioner for Tribal and Scheduled Caste Development. Prateek Jain will take charge as the Chief Executive Officer of Bastar’s District Panchayat.
