The Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) has recommended S Narayan for appointment as Chairman & Managing Director of Central Electronics Limited (CEL), a Central Public Sector Undertaking. Narayan is currently serving as General Manager at Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL).

The selection comes after interviews of 11 candidates and is subject to clearance by the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) and other statutory approvals.
