In a significant late-night administrative overhaul, the Punjab government, led by Bhagwant Mann, has transferred eight IAS officers, reshuffling key positions across six districts. The move follows the recent transfer of 21 IPS officers.

Among the major changes, 2014 batch IAS officer Komal Mittal has been appointed as the new Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Mohali, replacing 2015 batch IAS officer Aashika Jain, who will now take over as DC of Hoshiarpur.
Other key appointments include:
Poonamdeep Kaur (2013 batch) as DC of Faridkot
T Benith (2018 batch) as DC of Barnala
Ankurjeet Singh (2018 batch) as DC of Nawanshahr
Viraj Shyamkarn Tidke (2018 batch) as DC of Malerkotla

Additionally, Vineet Kumar (2012 batch), formerly DC of Faridkot, has been assigned as the Managing Director of Punjab State Warehousing Corporation. Meanwhile, Parminder Pal Singh (2016 batch) has been appointed as Commissioner of the Mohali Municipal Corporation.
