Anil Kalra Assumes Charge as New DRM of Kota Rail Division

Anil Kalra, a 1995 batch officer of the Engineering Services, has assumed the role of Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) of the Kota Rail Division. The previous DRM, Manish Tiwari, officially handed over the charge to Kalra in a ceremony at the DRM office. Following the formalities, Kalra extended New Year greetings to all officials as he took over his responsibilities.


Before taking charge in Kota, Kalra served as a Senior Lecturer (Track) at the Indian Railway Institute of Civil Engineering, Pune. With years of experience in the railways, Kalra is expected to leverage his expertise to guide the development of the Kota Rail Division. On 1st January, he formally assumed his duties from Manish Tiwari, marking the beginning of his tenure in Kota.

The Railway Board issued the appointment order for Kalra on 26th December, designating him as the new DRM for the Kota Division.


Kalra has extensive experience in the railways. His tenure at the Indian Railway Institute of Civil Engineering makes him a well-equipped leader to address the challenges and opportunities in the Kota Rail Division.
