
In a significant late-night administrative reshuffle on Thursday, the Uttar Pradesh Government transferred 31 IAS officers, including Commissioners of three Divisions and District Magistrates of 14 districts such as Lucknow and Barabanki. The changes saw new appointments in key Divisions like Meerut, Agra, and Aligarh, while District Magistrates were reshuffled in Mathura, Bulandshahr, Lucknow, Aligarh, Pratapgarh, Bijnor, Kanpur Nagar, Bagpat, Banda, Ghaziabad, Meerut, Farrukhabad, Barabanki, and Sultanpur.
In notable moves, Selva Kumari J, Commissioner of Meerut, has been appointed as Secretary of Planning and Director General of Economics and Statistics. Narendra Prasad Pandey is shifted to Member, Judicial Revenue Council, Prayagraj. Suhas LY, who earlier held additional charge as Secretary, Sports and Youth Welfare, will now solely serve in this capacity. Ritu Maheshwari, Commissioner of Agra, has been appointed Secretary of Medical Education, Health, and Family Welfare.

Key transfers include Rishikesh Bhaskar Yashod from Saharanpur to Meerut as Commissioner, while Shailendra Kumar Singh has been moved from Mathura to Agra as Commissioner. Chandraprakash Singh, the District Magistrate (DM) of Bulandshahr, was named DM of Mathura, and Shruti has been appointed DM of Bulandshahr from her previous role as Additional Chief Executive Officer of the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority. Chaitra V, Commissioner of Aligarh, has been reassigned as Director General of Youth Welfare and Provincial Guard.

Sangeeta Singh, formerly CEO of the National Health Insurance Scheme, has been made Commissioner of Aligarh. Archana Verma transitions from Special Secretary of Medical Health and Family Welfare to CEO of the National Health Insurance Scheme. Meanwhile, Vishak G moves from Aligarh to Lucknow as DM, and Surya Pal Gangwar, previously DM of Lucknow, assumes the role of Secretary to the Chief Minister.

Other notable transfers include Ashutosh Kumar Dwivedi from Greater Noida to Farrukhabad as DM, Satyendra Kumar from Barabanki to Special Secretary to the Chief Minister, and Shashank Tripathi from Special Secretary to the Chief Minister to DM of Barabanki. Kumar Harsh has been appointed DM of Sultanpur.
