A R Anuradha appointed Chairperson APPSC, Dr Lalit Das named OSSSC Head

The Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) has appointed retired IPS officer A R Anuradha as its new chairperson. The notification was issued by Chief Secretary Neerabh Kumar (IAS, 1987 batch). Anuradha, also from the 1987 IPS batch, previously held positions as Intelligence Chief and Secretary in the Home Department. She succeeds Gautam Sawang (IPS, 1986 batch), who resigned following the TDP’s return to power.

In a parallel move, the Odisha government has appointed retired IPS officer Dr. Lalit Das as Chairman of the Odisha Subordinate Staff Selection Commission (OSSSC). Joining him on the commission are retired IAS officer Dr Uddhaba Chandra Majhi and retired OAS officer Saroj Kumar Mishra, who bring valuable experience to the OSSSC’s critical role in recruiting subordinate state staff.
