In a recent bureaucratic arrangement in the state, the Kerala Government has transferred several IAS officers across the state. This reorganisation comes in response to a rise in central deputations, necessitating a realignment of key responsibilities.

1992 batch IAS officer and State Home Secretary Bishwanath Sinha will now also oversee Irrigation, Inland Navigation, and Coastal Shipping.

Dr. Veena N Madhavan, a 2010 batch IAS officer and former Director of Employment and Training, has been appointed Special Secretary in the Department of Administrative Reforms and will also manage the Department of Cooperation.

2011 batch IAS officer K Jeevan Babu, previously Director of the National Health Mission and State Mission, is now the Managing Director of the Water Authority. Dr. Vinay Goyal, IT Mission Director, has been promoted to Mission Director, with additional charge of MD of the Medical Services Corporation and Special Secretary for e-Health.

Dr. D. Sajith Babu, a 2012 batch IAS officer who was formerly the Commissioner of Civil Supplies, is now the Registrar of the Cooperative Department. Kollam Sub Collector Mukund Thakur has been appointed the new Civil Supplies Commissioner.

TV Subhash, former Registrar of the Cooperative Department, returns as Director of Public Relations and Development (PRD) and takes on the additional role of MD of the State Cooperative Agricultural Rural Development Bank.

K Gopalakrishnan, Director of the Scheduled Caste Development Department, will now also head the Industry and Commerce Department. Sriram Venkataraman, Joint Secretary for Resources in the Finance Department, will now additionally serve as MD of the Kerala Financial Corporation (KFC).

Thiruvananthapuram Sub Collector Dr Ashwathi Srinivas has been appointed Ernakulam District Development Commissioner, with additional duties as MD of the Vyttila Mobility Hub and Kerala Construction Corporation.

Thiruvalla Sub-Collector Safna Nasruddin will serve as Labor Commissioner, while Idukki Sub-Collector Arun S Nair has been appointed Entrance Examination Commissioner and given additional charge as Director of the Remote Sensing Environment Centre.

Thrissur Sub Collector Mohammad Safiq is now the Deputy Secretary of the Project Monitoring Department and MD of the Kerala Transport Development Finance Corporation (KTDFC).

Tirur Sub-Collector Sachin Kumar Yadav will assume the role of Deputy Secretary in the Finance Department. Kanhangad Sub-Collector Sufiyan Ahmed has been appointed Director of Employment and Training with additional responsibilities as MD of the Kerala Academy for Skills Excellence.

Thalassery Sub Collector Sandeep Kumar is the new IT Mission Director.
