The Odisha government has initiated a significant bureaucratic reshuffle, transferring 18 IAS officers across various departments.

Key Appointments

1. Satyabrata Sahu (1991 batch) has been appointed as Additional Chief Secretary (ACS) to the Home Department, with an additional charge as ACS, Forest, Environment, and Climate Change Department.
2. Deoranjan Kumar Singh (1993 batch) takes over as ACS of the Revenue & Disaster Management Department, with additional responsibilities as Special Relief Commissioner (SRC) and Managing Director, Odisha State Disaster Management Authority (OSDMA).
3. Surendra Kumar (1993 batch) has been assigned as ACS to the Government, Steel & Mines Department, retaining his additional charge in several key departments, including General Administration, Parliamentary Affairs, and as Chairman of Odisha Mining Corporation Limited (OMC).
4. Hemant Sharma (1995 batch), currently the Principal Secretary in the Industries Department, will continue with additional roles as Principal Secretary of the Energy Department and Chairman of IPICOL and MSME Department.
5. Bishnupada Sethi (1995 batch), currently the Principal Secretary of the SSEPD, has taken on additional charges in the ST & SC Development, Minorities, and Backward Classes Welfare Department and the Odia Language, Literature, and Culture Department.
6. Usha Padhee (1996 batch) is now the Principal Secretary of the Housing & Urban Development Department, with additional charge of the Commerce & Transport Department.
7. Vishal Gagan (1998 batch) has been posted as Principal Resident Commissioner in New Delhi.
8. N B S Rajput (1999 batch), serving as Principal Secretary to the Governor, retains additional responsibilities in the Department of Skill Development and Technical Education.
9. Shalini Pandit (2001 batch), previously the Health Secretary, has been reassigned to the School and Mass Education Department, while continuing as Commissioner-cum-Secretary of the Mission Shakti Department.
10. Aswathy S (2003 batch) steps in as the new Secretary of the Health and Family Welfare Department.
11. Roopa Roshan Sahoo (2006 batch) becomes Revenue Divisional Commissioner (RDC) of the Southern Division in Berhampur, while Sachin Ramchandra Jadhav (2007 batch) is appointed as RDC of the Northern Division in Sambalpur, and B Parameswaran (2008 batch) as RDC of the Central Division in Cuttack.
12. Balwant Singh (2007 batch) has been appointed as the new Tourism Secretary, retaining additional charges as Managing Director of OMC, Odisha Mineral Exploration Corporation Limited, and IDCO.
13. Yamini Sarangi (2008 batch) continues in her current roles with additional responsibilities as Commissioner of Commercial Taxes & GST.
14. Dr. Noonsavath Thirumala Naik (2009 batch) is appointed as Vice-Chairman of Bhubaneswar Development Authority (BDA) and will also manage Bhubaneswar Smart City Limited (BSCL) and Capital Region Urban Transport (CRUT).
15. Samarth Verma (2011 batch) and Ananya Das (2015 batch) are appointed as Tourism Director and State Project Director of Odisha School Education Programme Authority (OSEPA), respectively. Verma retains additional charge as Managing Director of Odisha Tourism Development Corporation (OTDC) and Odisha Film Development Corporation (OFDC).
